Hello all! I don't have to go to work tomorrow so that's why I'm here blogging now. The feeling is so liberating, cause I've been forcing myself to be there day after day (with off-days- some valid- nonetheless). There were so many things that contributed to the mixed feelings I underwent while being there.
1) Language barrier. The boss speaks like 101% chinese, knowing that I don't understand nuts, he still looks me in the eye and babbles away.
2) The fact that the internet there is TERRIBLE. Especially when you have to lug your own laptop all the way there.
3) Working hours. 9-5 with not much to do.
4) LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!
I rest my case.
SO today when Gideon told me the news about not having to come back 5 days a week anymore, I didn't know how to feel. NO, I wasn't fired. Apparently, quite a while back we were told that working hours could be shortened to 9-12 instead. Somehow, I knew NOTHING of this despite being part of the group. Its no mystery why there had been an unusually higher number of conversations in mandarin going on. -_- No amount of excuses can justify this la huh, so I'll just dismiss this little piece of fact here. Its started out as anger but when I heard that we only had to return on Fridays from 1-3, I was so fucking glad! Day in day out I had been ranting to everyone and this suddenly happens. For once it feels as though the world is trying to please me. From the start I had doubted the company, my instincts proved to be right. Lol if only I had gone to work at my dad's friend's Logistics company. I'd be paid and it'll actually be relevant to the diploma course. Now. I'm only gonna make the best of what's left; that's Major Project. Turn up for group meetings, complete assigned tasks (please delegate the writing stuff to me if you want me to be useful) and enjoy my trip to Bali in late Sept!
Speaking of which, I have to start saving. Booked the tickets yesterday already, now all thats left is to save for all the shopping and activities :D I can't wait! la la la~ Pictures of the exhibitions opening ceremony preparations last week.

I wore heels, Rita wore flats and she was still significantly taller than me. fml.

This is Mushroomhead. She works at the restaurant and never lets us help out in anything. Inedible.

But caress-able, as demonstrated by Gideon above. LOLLLLLL
I'm a Freebird! *sings Freebird by Lynard Skynard* Sentosa next week?
